Covid-19 guidelines

Covid-19 precautionary measures:

At Schlosshotel Fiss, we are blessed with an abundance of space to enjoy adventures and breathe in the fresh air right from our hotel’s doorstep. Nevertheless, we must work together to keep ourselves and others safe in places where people gather. We kindly ask you to comply with several guidelines and maintain a suitable distance from other people.

Please rest assured that we are doing our best to gather all information and government updates relevant to your stay on this page and are constantly updating it to reflect any changes or variations. If you still have further questions you can also visit the official Austrian Website or the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Website.

Entry rules & your arrival

Travel to Austria is possible for vaccinated and recovered persons. However, you also require a negative PCR test (max. 72h old). This is the 2G+ rule (“vaccinated and/or recovered + PCR test”). It applies to travels from ALL countries from the 24th of January.

  • Persons you have already received a booster jab (valid from the day of the booster) do not require a negative PCR test.
  • Children up to 12 years of age are also exempt from the 2G+ rule.
  • Unvaccinated young people between 12 and 15 years require a Holiday Ninja Pass.

Upon arrival, we request that you provide a valid vaccination certificate, or proof of previous Covid-19 infection. Children under the age of 12 years are exempt from this requirement. Guests who do not fullfill the 2 G requirements are unfortunately not allowed to be accommodated in this case.

Holiday Ninja Pass

The Holiday Ninja Pass is a way for young people of school age (12 to 15 years of age) from Austria and abroad who have not been (fully) vaccinated or do not have proof of past infection to achieve an officially recognised 2G status in Austria. The pass documents a series of tests with proof of negative results for 5 consecutive days. This means that at least 3 tests must be carried out within 5 days, at least 2 of these tests must be PCR tests. Provided that there is no interruption of the series of antigen and/or PCR tests with negative results during these 5 days, the pass is equivalent to 2G proof, also for days 6 and 7 without further test proofs. Please note that all test certificates must be carried alongside the completed Holiday Ninja Pass for the duration of your stay to guarantee 2G status.

Please also note that all guests are required to register prior to their travels. This can be done via a registration form at check-in or the myVisitPass for Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis.

Accepted proof of recovery
  • A quarantine notice from an official body that is not older than six months
  • A medical certificate that indicates an infection and recovery in the last six months
Accepted proof of vaccination
  • All vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) are accepted.
  • The vaccination is considered valid from the day of the second dose. The certificate of vaccination is valid for 6 months. After that a Booster is necessary.
  • For people under the age of 18, the second vaccination is valid for 210 days.
  • A Booster is valid for 270 days.
  • Please be aware that all people, who got the Johnson & Johnson vaccine need a booster vaccination since the 3rd of January 2022 preferable with a mRNA-Impfstoff (BioNTech/Pfizer, Moderna).
