Meet SHF Yoga Instructor Anja Sophie Mühlenberg
Anja Sophie Mühlenberg is a passionate, internationally certified yoga instructor and trained psychologist who fully embodies her love for yoga and mindfulness. Drawing from her extensive training and diverse experiences, she dedicates herself to guiding others toward self-compassion and inner balance.
Anja’s yoga journey began during her psychology studies when she attended a university sports yoga class. This first encounter deeply moved her, helping her find an inner anchor and strengthen her connection with herself. Inspired by this transformative experience, she decided to pursue a yoga teacher training course to deepen her practice and share her passion with others.
Her training in Greece was a pivotal moment, where she immersed herself in the philosophy of yoga, the anatomy of the human body, and the precise alignment of yoga asanas. This period of intense practice and meditation deepened her self-awareness and further ignited her love for yoga.
After relocating to Tyrol, Anja began teaching yoga classes and workshops in Reutte, and she also led yoga and wellness programs for young people at a wellness hotel. Her enthusiasm for sharing yoga’s benefits led her to expand her qualifications, completing a 500-hour advanced yoga teacher training course. In spring 2024, she spent five transformative weeks in Thailand, refining her knowledge and personal practice.
Today, Anja is more passionate about yoga than ever. She finds joy in sharing her insights and techniques, particularly the harmonious interplay between breath and movement—a process that grounds the body and calms the mind. Her commitment to yoga runs deep, and she strives to inspire others to connect more deeply with themselves, relax, and cultivate inner peace.
Anja believes that yoga empowers people to live in the present moment, fostering a sense of freedom, lightness, joy, and self-confidence. Her mission is to help her students unlock their full potential, encouraging them to embrace their journey and discover the transformative power of yoga.
