Regional. Fresh. Valued.
The artists behind the scenes.

Quality that people put their names to. Sustainability built upon relationships, respect and joy. The roots of our cuisine run deep, and suffuse all of our distinctive SHF signature dishes with invaluable quality. At the Schlosshotel Fiss we select all of our suppliers and products with a finely-honed sense of excellence, sustainability and ethics.

Here are a few of our suppliers:

Honey from the Zillertal

The Zillertal bee farm harvest their liquid gold from the hives in the lowlands of Tyrol - from tangy forest flavours through to delicate flower-blossom honey and the rare treat of honey from the comb.

Eggs from the Mair farm in Faggen

The Mair family’s chickens live in a natural paradise in Tyrol, and effortlessly supply the needs of the Schlosshotel Fiss.

Regional vegetables

In matters of vegetables, we place our trust in local grocer Kofler from Landeck. His expertly-chosen array of fruit and vegetables distinguishes this partner as one of the very best.

Cheese from Gstreins Delicatessen in Roppen

The range of this ambitious cheese sommelier covers 350 cheeses, with a strong focus on regional cheese made from natural raw ingredients.

Bread from the Althaler Bakery in Fiss

Local bread from the neighbouring village. The Althaler Bakery have been a hallmark of artisan quality and the best of taste since 1958.

Dairy products from Gasslbauer in Ladis

Every day, the organic farmer personally delivers his mouth-watering products to us from Ladis, 5 km away.

Informal. Personal. International.
We eat, sleep and breathe hospitality: service is our passion.

People and the encounters we have with them distinguish our hotel. This is why the cuisine and service you enjoy in our dining rooms reflect our commitment to professionalism with a personal touch. Unaffected cordiality combines with international standards and the full engagement of every member of the team.

“To offer family-style, personal service at international standards and, at the same time, to provide in-depth expertise and the highest of professional skill: This is our guiding principle, as shared with our regular guests and all new friends of the hotel over and over again.”
