Our experienced childminders love what they do. You can tell by the care and attention they shower on our little guests, and by the great ideas that make the Schlosshotel family experience so unique. Children love the friendly atmosphere and quickly make friends with whom to conquer and explore the mountains: on nature trails, hiking, skiing and lots of other adventures.

At lunch all the children meet up at the buffet in the Kids Club – or at the barbecue on the terrace in summer. From painting to playing board games – here is everything for the kids!

Knead salt dough.

Once the brushes are set aside and the games are over, the salt dough is mixed for kneading – this is done using flour, water and salt.

Kids lunch.

The children return hungry, happy and ready for lunch. Fortunately, there’s a kids lunch waiting with yummy specialities.

We fly kites on the Schönjoch.

After lunch, the shoes are laced and it goes outside. The kites are wrapped up and the children let them climb the Schönjoch.

After a huge outdoor fun we head back to the castle hotel, where the children are made up. There are a variety of motives that you can choose.

More fun at the pool with waterslides – as a children’s hotel in Austria, we know what matters.

Of course, there is plenty of fun in and around the water for guests of all ages.

The 48-metre giant tyre slide guarantees cheers and smiling faces, while the wave slide sends young adventurers speeding into the cool water.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer a babysitting service or child care?

Children aged 2 years and up are welcome at the SHF Kids Club, which offers fun and games daily. Children below the age of 2 years can join the SHF Kids Club programme under the supervision of a parent. We do not offer child care for children below the age of 2 at the hotel.

Do I have to register my children for the SHF Kids Club?

No, registration is not required. Your children are welcome to join us any time. However, we do recommend you take a look at the current programme or the SHF app as there may be specific activities or adventures for which registration is required (e.g. trips to the local fire brigade or other).

Is there food at the kids club?

The Schlosshotel pampers children à la carte. With prior registration, kids can enjoy lunch and dinner with the Kids Club supervisors in the hotel restaurant.

Can I book a babysitter at the hotel?

A babysitter can be requested at the reception or through the reservations team.

Does the SHF Kids Club offer overnight stays?

The hotel’s kids club is open from 8:30 am to 9:30 pm in the winter and from 9 am to 9 pm in the summer. There is no sleeping room available in the Kids Club.

Does the SHF Kids Club organise outdoor activities?

The children’s programme varies daily. When the weather allows, we regularly spend time outdoors.

Which children’s hotels in Austria have a waterslide?

Not many – but Schlosshotel Fiss certainly does. Our goal was to create one of the most beautiful holiday destinations for both children and adults, which is why we integrated exciting and adventurous waterslides into our water world, offering fun, thrills and unforgettable moments for the whole family.
